STRENGTH vs PUMP by Jason Maxwell – I always recommend training each body part at least twice per week if you want to build muscle. – One day should be a strength day and the other day should be a pump day. – On the strength day work to get stronger in the big compound lifts. Always try to do 1 more rep or 5 more lbs than last time. Do not sacrifice form though. – On the pump day you will still be trying to add more weight and more reps but you'll be using higher reps and shorter rest periods so
